Correct Road Bike Size

Correct Road Bike Size and Bike Fit

At Livelo Performance Road Bike Rental, we fit over 1,000 riders per year to the correct size road bike.

Every bike in our fleet has a different geometry and each brand has its own convention for sizing their bikes. Some publish the length of the seat tube (this can be either Centre to Centre or Centre to Top) as the bike 'size'. Others use the length of the top tube to determine bike size.

The following links will take you to our information on a simple rule of thumb approach to determine your bike size based on your height for each brand. This is a simple approach to a complex situation, but it is accurate in the majority of cases.

About Livelo

We are primarily a bike hire company, so we are not going to be trying to sell you that floor stock bike that is one size too big for you, (the reason this happens is because instead of ordering in the right size for you, the sale of the wrong size bike to you today will make the salespersons monthly sales target).

So if you would like Livelo to share some of our learnings with you, click on the green button below and gain access to our Full Size Table and our 3 Fundamentals of Correct Bike Sizing cheat sheet.
